The Calling

Hi, I’m Tim Wright, founder of Timotheos Enterprises. My journey didn’t start in a boardroom or business school – it started in prayer.

After 15 years driving a pilot car across America, my wife and I were discussing buying a semi-truck. More grinding. More time away. More of the same. But that night, lying in bed, I prayed for direction.

God’s response was clear and unmistakable: “Why are you not using the talents and gifts I have given you?”

Those gifts and talents are: Preaching and teaching, Photography, and Video Production.

My response changed everything: “Ok, I’ll not worry about the money.”

That prayer launched Timotheos Enterprises – not just as a business pursuing profit, but as a Kingdom mission pursuing obedience.

From Combat Photographer to Kingdom Entrepreneur

I’m a US Army veteran who started as a Combat Photographer (though I never saw combat). After military service, I spent years as a portrait and wedding photographer, then became an imaging technician for a world-class analytical lab, and eventually a videographer and editor creating content for TV, DVDs, weddings, and commercial clients.

But God wasn’t calling me to just take pictures or edit videos. He was calling me to build infrastructure that would honor Him, serve, disciple, and mentor others, and amplify voices committed to truth.

Three decades of creative expertise. Three failed businesses. Two near-death experiences. Countless miles on America’s highways. All of it was preparation for what I’m building now.
